Today I got up pretty late, probably because of the two mornings being up before sunrise catching up to me. In the mid-afternoon I made the trip to Campbeltown to go to the City Chic outlet and what a mess that was. I picked up the It Girl Jacket because it was on a display that said $40. By the time I had a look around and tried a few more things on the store-people had realised that someone had switched the signs and that it should of been $80.
Heres the catch though, they gave it to the lady who switched the sign for $40 because they had to honour the sign but when I got to the register, even though I had picked it up before this lady, they would not let me have it for the $40.
After a long phone call to customer care and talking to the manager about what had happened they finally let me have it for $40 but it took a couple of hours. That and the girl in store that was in while the manager was at her break is easily a size 10 and was a total stuck up piece of work.
I find it really irritating to start with going into a plus size store that has skinny girls working at it but for that store-person to look down their nose at you in borderline disgust was a whole new level of uncomfortable!

Anyway, heres to feeling awful in a shop that you should feel comfortable in. I hope you haven't had terrible experiences like this, but I know that its probably not the case!
