OOTD : 30th May, 2014 - Lazy Day

Today I had a super sleep in, I swear I must have died in my sleep for a few hours because one minute it was 9am and next thing I knew it was 12:30pm. Talk about sleep in! Then I got showered and dressed, had some breakfast and filmed a haul. The haul ended up being super long in itself so I won't be adding clips of me modelling the items for you unfortunately. 

This evening I edited what I filmed, had some super delicious satay chicken and watched Curious George with the girls. I felt super bad though because in the part where George gets taken away by animal control they cried.. My bad!

I also waved my hair tonight. Testing out a new product that I speak about in the haul, I am uploading it onto YouTube as I write this and will hopefully post it on here along with the accompanying post in the next few days!

OOTD : 29th May, 2014 - Happy Birthday Bud!

Today I got up, had no deodorant and had creche in the morning which was so relaxed compared to how it usually is. Today we had 6 children between three of us and it was so nice but I think I pulled a muscle in my chest which is hurting and feels like its put my back out.

I also went up to the northern beaches to go to a hair supplies warehouse and then I had to go to one in the city because they didn't have what I wanted in the other one. Imagine running 5 blocks to a store, picking what you wanted, paying and running back to your car weaving in and out of people walking slowly in 15 minutes because you parked in a loading zone which only has a fifteen minute allowance, good thing I have a station-wagon looking car otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to park in a loading zone at all.

I also had some errands to run at the local shopping centre and was rushing before the shops shut and then when I got in my car I realised that its Thursday and felt really stupid because the shops are open late on Thursdays. Doh!

Anyway. 

Tonight a friend and I went to a friends place for his birthday with his sister and some other people. Hilarity ensued as usual with those people. It was nice.

OOTD : 28th May, 2014 - Fresh Sheets

Today I finally washed my sheets and some clothes. Exciting, I know. Then I went out to Chatswood to the shops to kill some time before coming home to get my washing off the line and go back out again to some research participation where I got paid $30… Then went home had dinner and went out to bible study.

Lots of in and out today. 

You know what though, there is nothing worse than coming home tired and realising you have no sheets on the bed.. A year or so ago I would of just slept on the mattress protector but since I am a responsible twenty year old I actually made my bed perfectly.. Then proceeded to sleep on top of it instead of messing it up..

Haha. Screwing the system!

OOTD : 27th May, 2014 - Got It!

So after nearly a month of having a fringe, I think I have finally figured out how to style it to my liking. It also just so happens to coincide with the middle of the week which means I will be washing my hair in the next couple of days.. Hopefully I can get it to go back to how I like it with shit-tonnes of hairspray and frustration!

Today I just hung out with the children at playgroup and then came home, had a nap, looked for jobs and then cooked myself some satay chicken.. I did intend on washing today so I could film a haul tomorrow but the clothesline was full so I will wash tomorrow and film Friday.. I know I could film it with the dress dirty but I think a couple of more days will help me greatly in the organisation department.

And it also gives me the weekend to edit..

Heres to a super good hair day! Getting used to casually clipping my hair up nicely! Digging how it sort of looks like a super short messy bob from the front..

Is anyone here familiar with Google+ accounts? According to my Google+ profile it has been viewed over 200, 000 times.. That just doesn't make sense to me, especially because I only have four followers and barely 10, 000 views on my blog and even less on YouTube. Someone please explain!?!?

OOTD : 26th May, 2014 - Le Tired

Today I had class in the morning and I got to uni much earlier than I normally do because I had a few things to get done before classes started. Afterwards I went home, dropped my laptop home and drove back to uni to park in the carpark and then get the train into the city for some paid market research because since I am jobless now I need whatever money I can make!

But because I walked around the shops and stuff beforehand by the time I got back onto the train to get home I was pretty stuffed. 

I came home and pretty much went to my room to unwind and do some browsing before going to bed and then the seven year old I live with came up and asked if I wanted to have some cake because I got it for the day of my birthday but the four year old was sick so we ate it tonight instead. But now I am wide awake and really need to go to sleep ASAP if I want to be a fully functioning human being in the morning for playgroup… Meh, also I need to was tomorrow so I can film a haul on Wednesday..

Or, I guess I could haul the dirty item while its still dirty.. 

I don't know, never mind..

OOTD : 24th May, 2014 - The Morning After

This morning I got up at 8am after less than 6 hours sleep to see my mum and sister for a bit before they left and let me tell you, it was not pretty. Even without drinking I still felt like I had been hit by a truck which then reversed back over me for shits and giggles.

Also, you know when you don't remove your eye makeup how your eyes get really sore? I had to compete with that.

Anyway, my mum and sister left at around lunch time so I proceeded to have what I thought was going to be a two hour nap but I set my alarm for 3am instead of 3pm (Doh!) so when I woke up and it was dark I just figured I should keep myself sleepy and try to go back to bed soon. So I've just watched some movies and updated blog posts.

Nothing like a day in trackies to make you feel better!

OOTD : 23rd May, 2014 - The Day That Was

So again I know this post is very late, seems to be a common theme this month, but when I got home at 2:30am this morning (the 24th) writing a blog post was not up there on my list of priorities.. Sleep won that battle easily! But I am going to write this as if I was writing it when I got home yesterday.. Hopefully you can follow.

So today is my 20th birthday. I didn't get out of bed until midday after the four year old I live with came in multiple times after 7:30am because she was so excited to give me her card and present, so annoyingly cute that kid is! Anyway, later on I ventured out to meet some friends at Max Brenner for some chocolate goodness and then my friend had to buy jeans so we took him to buy jeans, while I complained about how much I had eaten because I felt downright sick.

Then I went home, got my outfit that I was wearing out that night and took it to the hotel my mum and sister were at and got ready and went to my work dinner we were supposed to leave for the cross at 8pm but alas it was well close to 10pm before people made their way out. By that point my sister had complained enough and ruined the mood and my mum was tired so they went back to the hotel while I drove into the cross to meet my friends. 

Parking in the cross is terrible, I knew it was to be expected but I literally looped the block for an hour before I found something. By the time I got to World Bar most of my people from work were pretty wasted, but on the plus side I got to get free soft drink, something they do to promote designated driving and not getting wasted or something like that. It was super fun still, even if I didn't drink.

Then at 2am I had to drive a girl home because she had been throwing up and by that point I was ready to go so I drove her home (had to pull over twice for her two blow chunks) and then she passed out for the rest of the trip which was nice.

OOTD : 21st & 22nd May, 2014 - Two For One

So I intended on posting yesterdays outfit this morning because Tumblr was not working for me last night and then by the time I had time to write a post it was well into the evening so I just decided to combine two posts.

Anyway.

Yesterday I had class at uni and made a quick trip to Kmart, thats all I did all day.. Other than you know the obvious stuff that we all do. I also bought The Godmother soap from Lush and all I want to so is shower all the time in the hopes that if I use it enough I will begin to permanently smell like red frogs and other delicious candy!

And today I volunteered at ESL creche in the morning which was a lot quieter than usual which was a nice change. I then had a job interview for a job I really want, but I really do not think I will get it, pretty sure my interview was shocking.. I kept catching myself saying "um" like someone had switched off my brain mid-sentence. My outfit was nice though!

I have also been super self controlled and haven't purchased anything in the City Chic sale thats currently in progress.. Ahh, the things that happen when you have a very limited budget, not saying I go without by any means but I have definitely cut back on my purchases that aren't necessity.

OOTD : 20th May, 2014 - Looking Up, Maybe..

So I am currently writing this on the morning of the 21st because I had such a busy day yesterday that when I got home last night I was way too tired to coherently put out a blog post.. So, I will recap my day from yesterday like I normally would and hope that you all don't get too confused about the tense..

Here we go!

So today I went to playgroup in the morning, which to be honest was a bit of a bore.. Thankfully the parents are there to look after the children though so compared to ESL creche its a bit of a bludge. Afterwards I had lunch at college and then went home for a little bit. Then I ventured out to Padstow to pick up a friend, in peak hour traffic! Bad idea, but we did make it back in time for him to have dinner with a friend at college, then we just hung out at college with some friends until about 11pm where I then had to drop him back to Padstow which there and back took about an hour.. 

Can you understand now why I didn't post last night?

Also, on the night of the 19th of May I applied for a HR assistant position with the Ryde Council and received a phone call for an interview at 9am this morning about it.. They don't waste any time! Can you all have your fingers and toes crossed for me and send all your well wishes this way because I have an interview on Thursday for the position and its a job I really, really want. I keep telling myself I don't want it though because I don't want to be disappointed if I don't get it. But it is perfect, good experience because I want to go into HR, amazing money, amazing benefits and its an office job so more more slaving around on my feet all day in a kitchen!

Anyway.. We should move onto my outfit, which is the reason most of you check this blog out.

OOTD : 19th May, 2014 - Uni & Naps

Today I had class for a few hours and then went grocery shopping afterwards with what little money I had. Came home, had a nap which turned more into a sleep and now its midnight and I am wide awake because I am an idiot.. Blergh!

Other than that, nothing really to report. Still need to unpack from my trip home, waiting on a package and  City Chic is having a sale the week that I am expecting $300 from work which will mean that I have much more money than I would usually and I am going to try really hard to not go super crazy on clothes.. Try being the most important word!

OOTD : 18th May, 2014 - Big City Life

Today we just got up and hung around home. Slowly got ready an went out to my aunts house for lunch with the family before we all went our separate ways and then we went home for afternoon naps. I slept way longer than expected and when I woke up mum was having pizza delivered for dinner, never again! Bacon has a tendency to go straight through me, especially because I rarely eat it and when I do it is in super small portions. My night has not been all that enjoyable.

I left to drive back to Sydney only to nearly be hit by a guy who sped through a red light, chucked a screeching U-turn down the road and proceeded to come back to the same intersection and run another red light. People are stupid, they don't think about the fact that there are others on the road at your mercy!

Anyway, drove home feeling sick to my stomach, was overtaken by this guy going super fast only for me to catch up when he was pulled over by cops (cue internal snickering) and managed to get home in very good time. Probably the quickest trip I have ever had to Sydney, even when there was roadworks, go figure!

Please excuse the dirty mirror, the whole bathroom needs a good clean really.

OOTD : 17th May, 2014 - To The Most Amazing Mother

Dearest Mum,

Happy 50th Birthday! 

The last few years have been super rocky but I am so glad that I have had you by my side helping me get through it all. I know I don't tell you how much I love and appreciate you enough and I am trying to show you more, but truth is, I won't ever be able to express or show to you how much I love and appreciate you. You have given up so much for me and I cannot express how grateful I am, and although I may not act like it sometimes, I know you have sacrificed a lot for me.

So today is my mums fiftieth birthday and boy did we celebrate. We had a massive lunch at the local yacht club and afterwards people came back to our place for coffee and cake, it was rowdy, typical style of my family!

After all that, a lot of people left and then it was just my mum, her aunt, my sister and I at home because mum went out with her aunty to a show at the theatre. So we quickly had dinner and dropped them off and then my sister and I came home and watched shitty tv.

OOTD : 16th May, 2014 - Shopping Hilarities

Today my Mum and I went to the shops to buy her an outfit to wear for her birthday lunch tomorrow. After many laughs in change rooms and me assisting her getting shape wear on and off in Big-W we, after three hours, picked an outfit that we both deemed appropriate for the occasion. Note to self, don't go shopping for three hours unmedicated, getting withdrawals in the middle of a shopping centre will not end well!

Other than that, we just got some groceries, hung about at home and watched crappy friday night television. I also re-watched My Mad Fat Diary and it sort of depressed me again because I am twenty in one week and no guy has ever shown any remote sense of interest in me… And again, these thoughts fade pretty fast, but they hurt a little none-the-less, especially when your friends have been in steady relationships for many years now. Will it ever happen to me? Its not just the body thing either, I know I have a very strong personality that probably scares a lot of guys off but I don't like the thought of dumbing myself down for a guy.

OOTD : 15th May, 2014 - Home Is Where The Heart Is

Today I helped out at ESL creche for three hours which to be honest has become more of a drain than an enjoyment for me the last few weeks. Hopefully thats just because I am a little run down at the moment and out of routine, I really need to pick myself up and just keep going really. 

After that I got in my car and drove back to Newcastle, there was so much traffic and so many cops on the road.. I feel like every time I make it to Newcastle or back to Sydney without being pulled over is an accomplishment even though I am not an unsafe driver or anything, I just feel really self conscious that I am going to be pulled over for something… Probably to defect my car, lets be honest, it isn't the most mechanically sound automobile on the road..

Other than that I have really just been enjoying being back at home with no work and uni work with me, so hopefully some recuperation can be done this weekend so I go back to Sydney refreshed and ready to tackle the next week!

Today I cleaned my room, packed to go home and went to work. Boo, not anything super interesting. Because I didn't go out before work I didn't bother getting out of my pyjamas to hang around the house doing stuff.

On the plus side, work was good today, I bit hectic but mostly good!

OOTD Fail : 13th May, 2014 - Mixed Emotions

Firstly, I stayed up most of the night binge watching My Mad Fat Diary again and then proceeded to sleep until launch time today to make up for the missed sleep. I then finished season 2 and am now wondering what the hell I am supposed to be doing, haha. 

Got ready for work. Was driving into work when the lady I don't get along with at work tried to tailgate in behind me, well, the boom gate dropped on her car, I laughed hysterically in my car. Karma! The thing about work closing though is that she is making even less effort to do anything than before, if that even possible, instead she pretends she's wiping benches and doing dishes instead of helping get samples out to people quickly like the rest of us and she's still bossing newbies around to do the jobs she doesn't want to do. No point mentioning it now though!

Got home from work, had some cuddles with the girls and then watched tv for a bit and now I am in bed ready to go to sleep..

OOTD : 12th May, 2014 - Long Day

Today I had class, which sucked because I stayed up most of the night binge watching 'My Mad Fat Diary' which is awesome in care you were wondering. Something I feel like I can relate to, some of the issues being dealt with in the show hit very close to home especially since lately my friends all seem to have boyfriends which makes me wonder why guys haven't ever shown an interest in me. Now, I always say I don't care and for the most part I don't but its really hard sometimes seeing people move forward in relationships when you've never even been kissed, let alone had a relationship.

Anyway, its a feeling that comes very rarely and usually passes as quickly as it came.

I also worked today which was surprisingly enjoyable which makes me feel completely sick that I have to find another job. I feel like I had just gotten completely settled and had stopped having panic attacks at work when I was told it was closing. I really think I am going to miss all of the people I work with, bar one obvious exception!
