So May is coming to a close oh so soon. Today I worked from 6am and then came home afterwards and succeeded in steering clear of bed so I will sleep tonight.

OOTD Fail : 29th May, 2013

For those interested, I said I would be slack on updates this week because of how busy I am at work. I just got home from an 11 hour shift and am due back at work in 8 and a half hours! I do apologise for the lack of updates but there is only so much I can do!

Oh my goodness, its nearly June! Where is this year going? I'm not going to tell you about my day today except that I have to work so I'm going to quickly put my OOTD up!

OOTD : 27th May, 2013

Big day today. I have uni from 9am until 3pm and then start work at 5pm until about 9pm. Who am I kidding, I should of just said big week this week! Working everyday and needing to study for exams is going to be interesting. Hello 6:30am starts and split shifts! I am, however, looking forward to the money and getting double time when I work before 8am!

It is so cold today in Sydney and its supposed to be even colder tomorrow. Im rugged up now, how am I going to move in the middle of winter with my amount of layers. I'll be like Michelin Man (google him if you don't know who that is). 

Also, I attempted to play volleyball yesterday and I should of known it was a bad idea, I mean my level of clumsiness should not of allowed it. my hands and arms are so bruised today and I have cuts, how do you get cuts playing volleyball?! My bad!

I am also wearing my hair down with a light grey beret with a bow, imagine that! I didn't take a photo.

OOTD : 26th May, 2013

Today I am not doing anything so I am well rested for my crazy week of uni and work that is coming! College volleyball is on so I will probably go and watch that! I don't really have much to say today since my update yesterday was so late at night, all thats happened since then is that I slept for ten hours, ate breakfast and got showered and dressed, exciting stuff!

So heres what I'm wearing today!

Let me tell you, this beanie made my day yesterday! If you read the last few posts you would have realised that I was feeling pretty down on my birthday, this made it all better.. Also, the toaster oven helped!

P.S. One of the ten finalists from the United Curves Model Search put a photo up on Instagram, I don't even think she would be big enough for City Chic clothing, she was tiny! I don't know what the judges were looking for, surely they would pick someone as a finalist who would represent the brand, she didn't even wear City Chic clothing there... I'm more confused than ever about the whole thing.

OOTD Fail : 25th May, 2013 + United Curves Model Search

Today I went to the United Curves model search for City Chic and Autograph. To say it was a disappointing experience would probably be an understatement. Some of the girls that were picked as the top 20 were not what I was expecting to be honest. Basically, there were a few outstanding girls in the mix and the rest I felt didn't quite understand the brief and also didn't fit the criteria we were given. Another problem I had was that they only picked dark haired girls with the exception of one or two blondes. I'll be very interested to see who wins. I have my pick!

I know I said I would post an outfit of the day but I had a blonde moment and didn't put my memory card into the camera which meant the photos I took saved onto my internal memory but because my USb cord is broken I have no way to access them.

If you went to the UCMS let me know what you thought and if your experience was any different. 

To make up for the lack of photos from today I thought I would show you what my mum got me for my birthday! 

Introducing my new favourite beanie! I love rainbows and the monkey face is adorable, I wish it was socially acceptable to wear it all the time!

She also bought me a toaster oven because I only have a stove top and I made good use of it by making some garlic bread tonight with some friends as depicted in the following picture (and by make garlic bread, I mean get it from the freezer and put it in the oven! Also, excuse my face, I was excited about my toaster oven!).

These friends also asked me to go get something from my room where they than set up an impromptu birthday party for me because they knew my birthday was quite a lonely affair on Thursday! But now all is well in Emmaland because I spent all day with my Mum and my friends showed they cared and I got to do all this while wearing a rainbow monkey beanie!

"Happy Birthday to Me" Haul

I went shopping for my birthday (which was yesterday, I'm writing this the morning after) and I decided that I bought so much so why not haul it for you. Again, there will be a haul video on my blog once it uploads to YouTube so I will write about the products here in the order of which they are on my video!

I think this will be the most versatile piece of the lot! Although I thought I disliked gold hardware, this is the second dress I've bought with it! Maybe I'm growing up!

Peplum Hoodie (I Purchased Both Black and Grey)

Just some more sophisticated hoodies instead of the boring mens ones I have been wearing for comfort.
