OOTD Fail : 31st August, 2013 - Off To Work I Go

Today I am working approximately 10-12 hours which means other than my work uniform, I wont be wearing anything else today.. Except maybe my pyjamas when I get back, sorry!

Also, because this month is nearly over I will need to do an August round-up as well as a Spring trends post sometime this weekend. Hopefully I will get those out to you tonight. I also need to film my nail haul, I might do that tomorrow since I need to redo my nails. I might do a tutorial then.

OOTD : 30th August, 2013 - RIP

So yesterday morning I got a phone call from Mum telling me that my Dads Mother had died in the morning. She was waiting for bypass to unblock 3 arteries but didn't make it into surgery. Now I am just sending paperwork into uni and stuff so I can go home to see my family and go to the funeral on Tuesday! I went home the other night and saw her and I was more shocked than saddened by the news because she seemed so optimistic and well on Tuesday night.

Anyway, other than that, I have work this afternoon and tomorrow and then I will probably be going home Sunday or Monday morning. If updates are a bit sporadic at the moment, forgive me.

In other news, it is super warm in Sydney today! If I didn't have to run around uni like a crazy person and then go to work I would of totally gone to the beach! Finding my shorts was no easy feat!

OOTD : 29th August, 2013 - Looking Out For Myself

Today I have an appointment with a counsellor at uni. Hopefully they can guide me in the direction of getting assistance with my uni workload. I also went to the family doctor yesterday while I was at home and she has doubled my dose of antidepressants and written a referral to a psychologist because I am feeling quite down at the moment and I am finding uni really difficult, especially after being sick for that few weeks. Fingers crossed that I feel a bit better after seeing the counsellor today!

I didn't really explain to you yesterday the new house situation. So a few weeks ago my mum moved from the old house she was in into a new house where my OOTD photos were taken yesterday. I can't remember if I ever mentioned the move on here but they've moved. They are now in a house on the harbour, its light and warm and about 100m walk to the nearest beach that we can swim at. I think it'll be great in summer.

I think that after my mum spent $2500 on bikes that I should be able to spend $1000 on a dslr. So I think I am going to order one sometime this week! I am very excited about that! Also, I will try and film my nail haul for you soon. If any of you are dying to see it let me know!

OOTD : 28th August, 2013 - New Home Sweet Home

Yesterday I met my Mum at the shops between Newcastle and Sydney for the afternoon but by the time it was time to part I was so tired that I just came home with her instead for the night. I didn't have anything with me so slept in some of my mums pyjamas and now I am wearing a dress of my sisters... Let me tell you, she was not impressed with me wearing her clothes. Today we ran some errands and I am being dropped back to my car after dinner.

Hopefully, the night work outside my window has finished!

OOTD : 27th August, 2013 - Construction

So yesterday I was rudely awoken by construction crews right outside my window banging together a fence. I had no idea why they were out there and we were told last night that they are doing nightworks to fix a power problem so they can start roadworks. Let me just say, I am not impressed! Not only do they start super early in the morning, they also work through most of the night and literally metres from my room window.

This wouldn't be a problem if I was a good sleeper, but if you read this blog regularly, you would know that I am a terrible sleeper and being kept up by something external is just adding to the fact that I don't normally fall asleep very easily to start with.

So this is the view from my window currently, and this doesn't show the digger they are using. Also, they have tea breaks right next to that little garden on the other side of the fence. I'm sorry, but I do not need to hear about the consistency of the dump you took this morning, nor do I want to smell your cigarette smoke blowing through my window. Also, during the night that have no consideration when packing up and must strive to be as loud as possible. Not happy.

Day one and I've already got a headache, its only bound to get noisier! Also, this means that I wont be able to film while this is happening which is a shame since I am yet to re-film my nail haul for you  guys! Boo.

Today I am going to meet my Mum halfway between where we both live. It'll be nice to see her, its been a while.

OOTD : 26th August, 2013 - Wellbeing

Today I have to go see someone at Campus Wellbeing because although I try super hard, I feel overwhelmed by uni at the moment. Especially after being sick and still not being 100% I am finding it really difficult to concentrate on my coursework and my confidence has plummeted in the last few weeks. I am hoping that maybe seeing a counsellor will help me feel less overwhelmed about uni, I am also hoping they can give me some strategies for time management because between work and uni I don't find much time for leisure and relaxation. Also, I hope in part it will mean that my blog is more of a blog and less of a place where I vent. 

In other news, my Grandmother had a heart attack last night. My mum called to tell me and I feel a little guilty because to be honest, I don't really care. My grandparents are only interested in us when they want something from us so I can't find it in me to care about her health when I'm pretty sure she couldn't give two stuffs about ours. I feel guilty though because I know its stressing Dad out and I should probably be a little more sympathetic.

OOTD : 25th August, 2013 - Tidy Room, Tidy Life

Hahaha. Not really, I may have a tidy room but nothing else about my life is tidy at the moment! But on a positive note, my room is super tidy for the first time in a very long time. Its a big weight off my shoulders and I find it much easier to be productive when my room doesn't look like a bomb has hit it.

So yesterday I worked for 8 hours, afterwards I went to City Chic to try on some dresses. My mum would be so proud of me, I tried on 4 dresses with the intention of buying one or two and I left with none. Probably because I didn't take my work pants off and everything looked weird with my pants on but I couldn't imagine what it would look like without the pants... But there is so much nice stuff at City Chic for summer! Except their swimwear leaves much to be desired, I want to feel young and confident in swimwear, not be wearing things I don't even think my Nanna would wear, and why are all the bottoms swimskirts? Some bigger girls don't have issues with their thighs so why must you insist on us hiding them?

Anyway, rant over.

OOTD Fail : 24th August, 2013 - Christmas in Winter... Well, Nearly Spring

Because I am going to work all day today I do not have an OOTD for you guys from today. I do have another one from last night though. Every year college has a dinner for Christmas in July, but instead of in July, we call it Christmas in Winter. Quite funny because this year it was held in the last week of winter..

OOTD : 23rd August, 2013 - Floordrobe

I seriously need to find some motivation to clean my room, it is a mess, as always. I literally have half my wardrobe on the floor and its getting a little hazardous to walk over.

Also, work was really great last night, it was good to be back and as a result I slept super well last night! I think finally getting out and doing something that would tire me out that wasn't uni work really helped. YAY for a full nights sleep, I was awoken at 1:30am by my upstairs neighbour showering, again. Its a daily occurrence really.

I finally broke this bad boy out! I know I should have worn a strapless bra with it but look at all the fucks I do not give!

Ahh, isn't it beautiful! I really love the cutout on the back!

OOTD : 22nd August, 2013 - I Failed

Yesterday I filmed two videos for you guys, then I realised that my camera kept freezing and I couldn't use any of the footage. Super disappointing since it has taken so long for me to feel up to filming again. I will try again sometime on the weekend and hopefully I will have them up for you during next week.

Today I go back to work today. I am super nervous because its been the longest I have had off work because of illness and I am not feeling 100% still and don't want to get to work and feel like crap. Fingers crossed all goes well! But before I go to work, I have to go to uni!

OOTD : 21st August, 2013 - Filming Time, Maybe.

So today if I get enough uni work done and feel up to it I will be filming my nail haul as well as a get to know me sort of video. If any of you have any suggestions for the get to know me video, let me know!

I may or may not have written about this in previous posts but I have a new upstairs neighbour who insists on showering at 2am, every night, without fail and every time he does it wakes me up, without fail. I'm beginning to get a little frustrated about it because to start with I find it very difficult to fall asleep in the first place and getting woken usually means that I am up for pretty much the rest of the night. But I don't know how to go about asking said neighbour to try showering earlier. See the issue isn't the actual showering, its the fact that the piping from all of the ensuites above me go through the wall that my bed is on, but I can't move my bed. It sounds like its raining in my room when my upstairs neighbour showers.. Give me some suggestions as to how I could deal with this issue! I know this person isn't out until 2am, they are in their room doing things, surely they could shower earlier and then keep doing what they're doing... Ahh, dorm living!

So during the last few weeks I had been contemplating opening a Storenvy to sell things I don't use, things I don't wear and stuff like that to get myself some extra cash. I realise how much stuff I have that I don't have a use for and instead of buying more stuff I am trying to purge some things now. OOTD : 19th August, 2013 - Ostrich

So last night I stayed up until 2am watching an Ostrich egg hatch on egg cam. If you guys don't know what I am talking about, I am really happy for you because I got so emotionally invested in an Ostrich hatching that I watched that live stream for 4 hours. I feel like I've lost my sense of purpose now that it has hatched and they've turned the live stream off. I must say though, little Pipsqueak was adorable!

Anyway, moving on from that sad part of my life to another. I have also recently become addicted to 'Say Yes To The Dress' and its not because I love weddings or plan on getting married anytime soon, or ever, but I love sewing and the dresses are works of art and I wish I possessed enough sewing skill to make something even a quarter as amazing as those dresses! Hopefully this addiction will not last because I have real life stuff I need to do, like homework and actual work.

Today I have an hour at uni, and because I am still a little under the weather I think I have dressed like its a lot colder outside than it looks but it is windy so hopefully I am not too warm.

This top is back from my birthday haul, and it has the buttons in the back to cinch it in.. I am still unsure about them..

Also, I changed my nails up last night, they are now a baby pink. I'll put a picture up in tomorrows post. Even though the black and gold didn't last two weeks, I think it would of if I stopped picking, I am still super happy with one week of damage free wear. I am super impatient when it comes to painting my nails and I tend to ruin them straight away, so one week is amazing!

I will be filming a nail haul as soon as I am better, I don't want to be coughing and spluttering on camera.

OOTD : 18th August, 2013 - Sleepy Days

So, I slept from 8pm last night until 8am this morning, had breakfast and then decided I was still super tired so went back to bed at 10am until 1pm. Even after 15 hours sleep I still feel tired. I am hoping that if I sleep more that I can shake this sickness quicker. I finished my second round of antibiotics yesterday and if I haven't shaken whatever this is by the middle of the week I will be going back to the doctors, again.. So today I have a serious case of cotton ball mouth and uni work piling up around me.

Other than complaining about how sick I still am, nothing has really happened since I wrote a post yesterday. Most of the time was spent sleeping.. So moving on, heres what I am wearing today!

 Nothing special, just leggings, a singlet and my 3/4 sleeve peplum top. I must say though, its more of a half sleeve than a 3/4 sleeve..

I feel bad that I keep giving you half-hearted outfits at the moment but then another part of me is too sick to think about it too much which makes me feel bad too. I should care more, but I have never been so sick for so long in my life.

I noticed on my 'Fat, Fashionable, Fabulous' page on Tumblr yesterday that a BBW fetish page was in one of my biggest fans on my activity page. I just want to put it out there that this isn't intended to be a fetish blog, nor do I want my photos put onto a fetish blog. All I am here for is to write to readers about my day and also show off my outfits. I am in no way consenting to the use of my pictures on fetish sites and would love for you to let me know if you come across them on such sites.

It really disturbs me that people would use pictures on fetish sites without us consenting or being aware!

OOTD : 17th August, 2013 - The Morning After

I bet a few students from college are waking up with sore heads today! So if you don't read my blog normally, last night was my College's Annual Ball. So we all got super fancy and dressed up and pretended we were much more sophisticated than we actually are..

But, before I got there, I put my dress on at 5pm and just my luck the whole zipper split down the back. Now I had this dress altered at an alterations place across the road from where I live so I frantically called them to see if there was anything they could do and they asked me to bring it over. So imagine this, I had my hair and makeup done, running barefoot to the shopping centre with a ball dress in my hands wearing whatever was closest to me on the floor of my room... Thankfully, they managed to put in a temporary zipper that thankfully lasted the night, no wardrobe malfunctions at the ball! Fhewww.

So after all that, heres what I looked like.

Also, for those of you interested in curlformers, I did sleep in them the night before, I used to super-long and wide. My curls looked like this after taking my hair out after the ball.

And my hair is still curly today. Definitely go the wide width ones for long lasting curls. 

Today I am just going to attempt to get some uni work done and clean my room. I am still pretty unwell and I was supposed to work this weekend but I can't afford to be sick for much longer, so I figure if I rest now, it'll benefit me in the long run.
