Today I decided to get up earlier than usual and get some work done on my assignment so I could go out to the shops with my mum and sister in the afternoon. We ended up going to east gardens where I got some new shoes because my Kmart flats began to fail me, plus they're cheap so they smelt (TMI?)...
After shopping I had my mum drop me into the city on the way through because I had trivia in at the rocks that evening, I also ended up buying a genuine Canon battery at the JBHIFI store in Pitt Street because the non-genuine one I purchased would not charge, hence it was returned as faulty!
I was also running super late to trivia and from Town Hall all the way down to The Rocks is a fair hike and in peak hour with everyone leaning work really wasn't the most pleasant of experiences. Also, the amount of people who are on their phones as they walk paying no attention at all to anyone around them is incredible, it does not surprise me that pedestrians get hit by cars when they have their face buried in a phone!
I made it to trivia on time, cheers to that! We also had a seat outside which was super nice since it was a warm day.. I did however rip a hole in my dress on the wicker chairs, another item of clothing has been added to the mending pile I have going on. I will get to it once I have finished exams!

This dress is super cute but it is pretty uncomfortable because it has heaps of boning and the straps are quite far over so they tend to dig into my underarms quite a lot!
