I never thought that planning and agreeing on things for a funeral could be so painful and nasty. The last 24 hours of my life has been clouded by arguments about who want what for my grandmothers funeral and people changing plans behind other peoples backs. The main perpetrator of this isn't even here for his mother, he's here to prove to everyone that he's the better of her child because he planned the funeral. Basically he's protecting his image by making sure people know he planned the funeral to make up for the fact that he didn't come when she was hospitalised and he wasn't here when he died. Also to make up for the fact that he cut them out of his lives as a teenager only to see them when he needed a free babysitter!
I could go on and on, but I am sure you don't want to hear about it. I just don't understand how people could be so nasty at such a difficult time.
