Today I had class from ten until two so I left mum at my place and went off. I had to do a class presentation in one of them which went alright, surprisingly! After class was over I had to get mum and then get some lunch before going to a doctors appointment. It was funny because I finished class early and didn't think she would have left yet to get to the doctors but I drove past her on my way home and she didn't notice me until I wound my window down and yelled at her!
Anyway, the doctors visit was okay - my doctor tried to get me in to see a psychiatrist in the next few days but the earliest appointment with anyone was at least a month away so she suggested going to the hospital's mental health unit. Mum and I went up there and we went to the mental health unit but it was the same deal, our mental health system is so bad that they wait until someone is in full blown psychosis before they do anything about it instead of catching it early and preventing full blown psychosis.. Anyway, we spent two hours there and all I got was a hospital bracelet! Ha.
We were asked to go back in the morning to have me assessed though.
