This morning I checked out of the hotel (after the buffet breakfast of course) and headed on back to the house. It was a little weird going back after being away for so long! Once I was home I attempted to begin unpacking but I didn't get very far before I got a phone call saying we didn't get the house and could I go to a couple of inspections that were scheduled for the afternoon.
We had missed most of the inspections scheduled for the day though... I called a real-estate agent who was happy to show us through one tomorrow though, fingers crossed!

After that I got myself ready to go to the Boyce Avenue concert! I was so excited, I got myself into such a state that by the time I got to the venue my chest was doing weird flip-flop things and I felt super nervous.. Which is weird, its not like I was performing or anything - anticipation is a weird feeling!
Anyway, I had a meet and greet which was so good, they were all so nice and friendly. I know that sounds weird but I have been to other meet and greets where I hadn't even been acknowledged apart from the photo!
I danced myself stupid through the show! It was so good and then afterwards I waited at the stage door to see if I could have a chat, there were only ten or so of us at the stage door so they did come out for a chat. Honestly, they are the sweetest guys! They all took time out to hang around and chat and joke around with us even though they had family at the venue which I am sure they would of much rather be spending time with! It was also nice because when they came out to the stage door they remembered that I had been at the meet and greet and their hugs are fabulous! Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Took these two photos once I got back, after having this lipstick on for 6+ hours it was still doing really well. The corners were fading and so was the insides of my lips but I ate and drank and was very merry and it kept relatively well!

This photo is going to be something I cherish forever, along with the memories of what was such an amazing night! I remember a friend recommended me listen to these guys during class one day and I have not looked back! Their music was a massive comfort to me during the worst of my depression and anxiety and I got a little teary when Alejandro was introducing and singing 'Find Me' because he was talking about how that song was so special to them now since their uncle passed and it reminded me of my Grandmother, whose anniversary of her death was a little less than two weeks ago. I had never found myself so emotionally connected to a song ever, it felt like a massive kick in the guts and I can imagine that I looked like a deer in headlights in that moment of realisation. That my friends is why I love this band so much, they have this energy that just hits you hard emotionally in so many different ways!
