February Round-Up

February has been a manic month. Between moving rooms at college to moving out of college and lots of commitments all round I have been super busy.

In the beginning of February my Mum and Sister both came to see me by themselves on two different days respectively, I had a friend graduate from university and move back to Sri Lanka and then to Switzerland for God knows how long, I moved out of college and went home for my sisters birthday and a quick trip to Forster to see my cousins. All while trying to keep my cool over moving and all the joys that comes with that like packing, organising, cleaning, shopping and unpacking… And handling some pretty intense anxiety about the move.

In the end, all was well!

Well…

For now…

This month, I have picked my favourite 5 outfits to share with you so here it goes!

7th February, 2014

This Tile Print Dress is quickly becoming a staple item in my wardrobe! In fact, I am wearing it today as I write this. I find that it fits really well, is a really flattering cut and the length is good. It is also going to remain one of my staple items because I can wear it with tights and stocking for winter time.

Dress : New Loook

8th February, 2014

These items have also been staple items all Summer, however I don't think they will be following me into the cooler weather… The pinafore could but the swimmers definitely won't be suitable for freezing cold days, as much as I love them!

Pinafore : Erika II Casuals
Swimmers : Cosmic Libra by Robyn Lawley Swimwear

15th February, 2014

As you all must know by now, I love the shorts in this outfit and I am still desperately holding onto them in the hopes that I may be able to repair them because I think the length is perfect on me and I have been unable to find any other shorts, or even jeans that I could cut off, that measure up. Apparently, dark was jeans for men is not a thing anymore and this style of jean that I made into these shorts is also non-existent anymore.

Also, the top is pretty great too. Especially on a day when you are moving house and get all sweaty and need to show off your guns, haha.

Top : Asos Curve
Shorts : Jeanswest

21st February, 2014

Party day! What a hectic day! First I made my sister cake, then we had tonnes of errands to run before the party started, to be honest, I am surprised we were perfectly on time!

I bought this dress on a whim. I loved the look of it but I had never tried clothing from Little Mistress and with a $33 price tag I was a little skeptical but as soon as it arrived and it fit me, I was in love. Although it is a little short, I made it work by wearing a body con skirt under it to give that little bit more length. Also, aren't the earrings so adorable, teamed with a faux sidecut it was amazing!

Dress : Little Mistress
Skirt : Kmart
Shoes : Big W
Earrings : ??? Purchased from my hairdresser, have no idea what brand or anything!

22nd February, 2014

I am sure you have seen this before if you read my blog regularly but I love it and I am sure I will forever love it! Crochet collars for the win! Seriously, could this top be any cuter!

Enough Said!

Top : New Look
Belt : From work uniform
Skirt : Kmart

And thats if for the outfits but I have some more photos from this month that I am going to share from this month. If you want to see the posts these are from, just check through the February posts on my blog! Mind you, these are in no particular order!

I hope your February was as exciting as mine was!
