Today I had a six hour workshop to run at university to finish the placement component of one of the subjects I was taking this semester. Not only did I have to be there super early but it was a super hot day and I was not looking forward to six hours in the heat with 42 teenagers!
My activities went well and the students seemed interested, the books also did get printed on time.. Phew! After lunch the rest of the activities were outside which in hindsight was a really bad choice. I do not think that there was a part of my body that wasn't sweating, gross but true!
The first thing I did when I got home was have a lukewarm shower, it felt super cold on my overheated body though.
I made the effort to head off to Surry Hills for trivia and all was well until I got there and it began to pour rain and then the people I was meeting cancelled on me - a three hour round trip is what it ended up being and I was not the happiest of people about it!
Anyway.

Anyway, placement is over, my log book has been submitted and how I have four days to myself until I return to class for the short summer semester!
