Between moving house, uni and all of the other stuff I had on in September, I actually think I did pretty well in procuring some things for my monthly haul! I know it is also the middle of October, but I am surprised I got it up this soon - Considering the internet only got connected a week ago and we have been dealing with some serious connection issues getting this haul up onto YouTube was a massive task in itself.
If you would like to watch the video scroll down to the next post or click here!
Anyway, heres my haul for the month of September (and beginning of October!).

Crossroads Jumpsuit
RRP $50 | Sale $25
As soon as I saw this in the shop window I had to have it. I own nothing quite so carefree out of everything in my wardrobe, its also super comfy and made from cotton so its super cool for the coming summer! It also looks like a dress when you stand with your legs together without the awkwardness of wearing a dress (I am the worst with dresses, hence why I wear shorts under them!). I feel like this item will be getting a lot of wear in the upcoming months not only as a bathing suit cover but an outfit in its own right.
I have paired this with a jacket and worn it out at night, its such a versatile piece!
City Chic Splice Bikini
Top : $69.95 | Sale $48.97
Bottom : RRP $49.95 | Sale $34.97
In recent years I have become a believer in flaunting what you got it you want to. A few years ago I couldn't find a bikini in my size so I made one and last year I purchased on that I still love and when I saw this coming out at City Chic I had to have it. The top, although not the most supportive, trumps my Robyn Lawley ones in support. The padding, which is removable, makes my boobs look perky (which they are not!) and the bottoms sit perfectly at my waist.
The one thing about this that I regret to say is that for us girls with bigger bust, halter neck tops are not the nicest! I just solved this by looping the ties around the back-strap which meant no sore neck!
Love, love, love!
City Chic Jumpsuit
RRP $89.95
I purchased the Splice One-Piece when I purchased the bikini and opted to return it not realising that City Chic do not refund for swimwear, the manager at my local store was happy to give me a credit note though because I am a regular customer.
When I went into City Chic next I picked this up, and some overalls that I later returned, with the credit note and only paid the ten or so dollars difference. I have fallen in love with jumpsuits in a big way since I purchased my first one a few months ago - it is a phase I am going through, but thoroughly enjoying!
This item is good as a swimwear cover but I am hopeful that it would transition into warm summer nights and stuff, we shall see!
Rubi Sunglasses
RRP 2 for $20
So I lost my last pair of sunglasses through the many journeys between Sydney and Newcastle and the move. I still have not managed to locate them and I have decided that I probably never will so when I went to the shops and actually liked these ones when I tried them on I bought two pairs! I find that I always ruin or lose sunglasses and sometimes I find it difficult to find some I like so when I do I will usually buy multiples, price dependent of course!
The first time I wore these they gave me a headache though, hopefully I will get used to them - they should loosen up a bit with wear at the hinges!
Melting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt
RRP $8.50
I love the scent of The Godmother Soap, Snow Fairy and the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar and this smells pretty similar so I went for it! We have a bath in our house for the first time in a long time - last time we had a house with a bath I moved out pretty soon after we had moved there, boo!
I am yet to try this but judging by the smell and the fact that it is a Lush product I am sure that I will love it!
Dragons Egg Bath Bomb
RRP $5.95
This bath bomb smells so nice and fresh - lemongrass is my weakness! I used this and it was so good that I went and purchased two more, I never realised how moisturising a bath bomb could be!
So good!
Makes it look like someone took a massive wee in the bath though, awkward!
The Godmother Soap
RRP $6.50 per 100g
This is the first Lush product I ever purchased and I still love it - smells so good! I also find this super moisturising and lovely to use!
I really don't have much else to say about it... If you like the smell of red frogs, you'll love this!
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar
RRP $8.50
My sister and I would purchase multiples of this bubble bar everytime we went to a hotel with a bath, now that we have a bath we have to ensure we have one in our house on a constant basis in case we decide we need a bubble bath!
Smells like very similar to The Godmother soap and the Melting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt - I love the scent! Give me everything made with this scent!
Speaking of that scent, I went past a Lush store the other day and Snow Fairy is out for Christmas so I purchased the big bottle! Shower partying!
iPhone 6 - Space Grey 128GB
$93 per month - Telstra
I feel like this item doesn't really need a photo - I am sure that the vast majority of us knows what the iPhone 6 looks like!
The transition to this phone lead to lots of sore muscles in my hands and wrists but since I have gotten used to it that pain has passed, thank goodness!
Going from a 4S to a 6 has been a massive adjustment but after having it for two weeks, I love it!
Canon 70D & 70-135mm STM Lense
RRP $1300 (approximately) | Secondhand $900
This is by far the most exciting purchase I have made in a long time. I have been saving for this bad boy for a very long time but everytime I got close to having enough money something would happen that would drain my finances.
But here he is, I have been getting used to working with this through taking photos of everything and anything and don't feel confident with it yet but I am sure that practice will help with my confidence and my abilities. Maybe a course would be good - I also think I will learn it as I go!
YAY for secondhand cameras! I still have money left over too!
Win-win!
