June Plus-Size City Chic Haul + Some Lovisa Accessories

The month of June was supposed to be a month of minimal spending and maximum amounts of saving. I thought that because I was busy studying for, and having exams that I wouldn't possible have time to spend any money.. How wrong was I! I spent a lot more this month, probably due to the stress that I was feeling over exams! It was so easy to have a study break and blow lots of money on pretty things to avoid studying..

Ahh, procrastination at its finest!

Anyway, heres what I purchased in the month of June - You can also watch the video here!

City Chic Lace Lavina Dress
RRP : $179.95 | Sale : $40 | Further 30% Off : $28

I purchased this dress in a large during my first trip and then hunted around for a medium with the thought that if I couldn't find one I would get the large taken in. But I found a medium at the outlet (the only one) and purchased it. I wouldn't have normally purchased it again but I figured that it was cheap enough and I could sell the large one.

This dress feels so lovely on though, feels very retro while still being modern and elegant. I can definitely see myself wearing this dress in a number of different situations, just need one of those 'situations' to come up soon so I can! I don't know what it is about me and lace, I just love it!

City Chic Black Beauty Dress
RRP : $139.95 | Sale : $40 | Further 30% Off : $28

I nearly purchased this a couple of weeks back on a trip to Tuggerah with my mum and sister but decided not to because although I loved it, it was a little too expensive for my pocket and a little to low cut for my mothers liking! Haha. I feel like it accentuates the good things about my body though, I feel like I have a supermodel body in this dress!

Aint nothing quite like wearing something that makes you feel like the hottest person on the planet! Sort of like heels and red lipstick!

City Chic Brocade Jacket
RRP : $99.95 | Sale : $40 | Further 30% Off : $28

Calling this work of art 'Nana Chic' because it reminds me of something an old lady would wear or decorate her house with. It does have the potential to make a very boring outfit into something a little more interesting just by adding another pattern and texture!

I had actually been looking for something like this (the style) but thought I would get something a little more plain but I think I can use this, I think it will become a very popular piece in my wardrobe!

City Chic Sexy Cut-Out Top
RRP : $69.95 | Sale : $30 | Further 30% Off : $21

Just something that has been taken from super basic to super interesting with the addition of some straps. The fabric of this top is also super think and feels like its going to be an item in my wardrobe that lasts forever! I find most items from City Chic are made super well because they understand the need for more sturdier items for us bigger girls!

Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something a little more than a basic top without going too over the top!

City Chic Floral Zip-Up Tunic
RRP : $89.95 | Sale : $40 | Further 30% Off : $28

This style is a basic style that City Chic rotates constantly. Just in the last year or so there have been many releases of this style of tunic in many different colours. I own a black one, I have seen them in orange, pink and purple and I am sure that there are many other colours and patterns this comes in!

First thing, it has pockets! Colour me happy! I also fund the cut super flattering because being someone with no hips, it gives the illusion of curves making me look much more proportionate to an hourglass shape while skimming my midsection which is where I am most conscious about at times.

City Chic Jamaica One-Piece
RRP : $99.95 | Sale : $30 | Further 30% Off : $14 (that aint right, but its what I paid!)

I regret not buying the black and white striped suit with the neon yellow trim as well but I decided I needed another swimsuit to wear in indoor and chlorinated pools to avoid ruining my Robyn Lawley swimsuits because they are not chlorine resistant and they were quite expensive. So when I saw the swimwear on sale at the outlet store I grabbed some!

I am trying it on with my bra on, so my boobs wont be quite so perky normally in this because it doesn't have underwiring, I still think it will hold me in just fine though. I don't really care anyway because it was cheap as chips!

City Chic Monotone Daisy Dress
RRP : $119.95 | Sale : $30 | Further 30% Off : $21

I tried on a very similar style of dress but it was in a pastel floral which made me look super washed out so I didn't purchase it. When I saw this at the outlet I fell in love, although, I have never seen these in stores and the outlet seemed to have a lot of them so I don't know what the deal is with that! Maybe they never put it out on the floor at stores..

I like the style of the bust area! It cups the girls perfectly! These things are important for us with larger chests, believe me, if something doesn't cup me well or makes me feel unsupported I usually wont buy it!

City Chic Floral Lei Top
RRP : $59.95 | Sale : $10 | Further 30% Off : $7

This top was $7. Do I even need to say anymore? I love a good bargain and these tops are perfect for something to stay cool in summer!

City Chic Lace Romantic Dress
RRP : $119.95 | Sale : $40 | Further 30% Off : $28

I already have the exact same style of dress in all black that can be seen in my post for the 16th of March, 2014 (if you're interested) and I knew before I put this dress on that I would like it!

I love this style of dress, it reminds me of the dress that Hayley or Sally wore in Leah's(?) wedding in Home and Away. The draping is lovely it conceals potential problem areas while highlighting potential good areas such as your décolletage and waist.

City Chic Gothic Princess Top
RRP : $89.95 | Sale : $40 | Further 30% Off : $28

I thought this top was super weird looking but something compelled me to try it on anyway and I loved the crochet details on the sleeves and hem so I ended up purchasing it. I am sure I will wear this bad boy though. I seem to always get good amounts of wear from my other tops that are similar to this.

Lovisa Bird Earrings
RRP : $14.99 | Sale : 3 for $10

Sterling silver, check! Aren't these so cute! I have been needing to clean the earring I had in for ages so I thought it was about time I purchased some more earrings that I could have in all of the time without worrying about them tarnishing like silver plated ones do.

Also, I have super sensitive ears so sterling silver is about the cheapest quality I can tolerate.

Lovisa Bow Earrings
RRP : $16.99 | Sale : 3 for $10

So I had avoided buying these for such a long time, I would always see them and avoided buying them but when they were on sale I just went for it! I actually bought two pairs of these! They're bound to be a favourite!

Lovisa Cubic Zirconia Earrings
RRP : $16.99 | Sale : 3 For $10

Just a nice basic pair of earrings. Timeless, elegant, hopefully non-irritating! Haha!

Lovisa Leaf Ring
RRP : ??? | Sale : In 3 For $10 - Marked as $5 purchased by itself

I have worn this ring pretty much everyday since I have got it. It fits perfectly and is so unique and whimsical! I love it!

Lovisa Sparkle Bauble Earrings
RRP : $7.99 | Sale : 3 For $10

So shiny! So pretty! They remind me of disco balls now that I have sat down to write about them, but that thought had never occurred to me before, weird!

Lovisa Statement Earrings
RRP : $19.99 | Sale : 3 For $10

I am still yet to find the gem that fell out of the one on the left as I tool it out of the bag, bummer! I think I could get away with wearing them anyway without anyone noticing!

Anyway, there are all my purchases made in June (related to this blog!). Unless you want me to start hauling groceries and toiletries and stuff this is all you're getting, haha!

Remember to have a look at the video if you haven't already, you'll be able to see the clothes in motion and stuff as I model them for you (really badly!). Haha.

I hope you all have a great day!

Happy Blogging my Lovelies xo
