Dearest Mum,
Happy 50th Birthday!
The last few years have been super rocky but I am so glad that I have had you by my side helping me get through it all. I know I don't tell you how much I love and appreciate you enough and I am trying to show you more, but truth is, I won't ever be able to express or show to you how much I love and appreciate you. You have given up so much for me and I cannot express how grateful I am, and although I may not act like it sometimes, I know you have sacrificed a lot for me.
I love you.
So today is my mums fiftieth birthday and boy did we celebrate. We had a massive lunch at the local yacht club and afterwards people came back to our place for coffee and cake, it was rowdy, typical style of my family!
After all that, a lot of people left and then it was just my mum, her aunt, my sister and I at home because mum went out with her aunty to a show at the theatre. So we quickly had dinner and dropped them off and then my sister and I came home and watched shitty tv.
