Today my Mum and I went to the shops to buy her an outfit to wear for her birthday lunch tomorrow. After many laughs in change rooms and me assisting her getting shape wear on and off in Big-W we, after three hours, picked an outfit that we both deemed appropriate for the occasion. Note to self, don't go shopping for three hours unmedicated, getting withdrawals in the middle of a shopping centre will not end well!
Other than that, we just got some groceries, hung about at home and watched crappy friday night television. I also re-watched My Mad Fat Diary and it sort of depressed me again because I am twenty in one week and no guy has ever shown any remote sense of interest in me… And again, these thoughts fade pretty fast, but they hurt a little none-the-less, especially when your friends have been in steady relationships for many years now. Will it ever happen to me? Its not just the body thing either, I know I have a very strong personality that probably scares a lot of guys off but I don't like the thought of dumbing myself down for a guy.
