So today being the first day of September here in Australia also means its the first day of Spring! Now I have to say firstly that the winter we just experienced wasn't the coldest winter I've experienced and it didn't really get cold enough to break out the coats I bought on Asos before winter. Talk about disappointing!
A lot of trends for this Spring/Summer were also around last time around. I also have decided to bunch the seasons because a lot of the Spring trends will follow through to Summer, much like the Fall/Winter trends.
First things first, florals are always in for Spring and Summer. In the words of Miranda Priestly, "groundbreaking"!
I have already purchased some floral dresses to get ready for the season and I am so excited to get to wear them!
The next trend is a trend that has been around for a while for some fashion forward people but is continuing to carry on, jelly sandals. I recently purchased some of these in black, clear and pink so I have a pair for every outfit!
I have no words to describe how comfy these are, and oh so cheap! They also come in such a wide variety of colours and styles!
Next trend, I have also taken on board, pinafores! I have recently purchased three pinafores for this season, I used to own one but I grew out of it but the love has stayed! Definitely a must-have for all you festival goers!
And last but definitely not least, a trend that has been seen widely at music festivals. Flower Crowns! These things are absolutely to die for! So whimsical!
I now own a few flower crowns and I am excited to shake it up a bit with them!
