Autumn/Winter Trends

As the temperature in Sydney begins to drop fast, I've finally got my jeans and jackets out of storage and have compiled a list of trends that i think will be perfect this Autumn/Winter season!

The first trend I have fallen in love with is coats! I love coats! A few of my favourites are included in my first Asos Curve haul! Theres nothing quite as great as feeling snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug while still looking trendy and put together. My personal favourite is the Asos Curve Duffle Coat which I purchased for approximately $80 and I have nothing but good things to say about it!

The next trend I am in love with and have been in love with for a couple of years is the Over-The-Knee boot trend, often referred to as OTK. I purchased my first pair of OTK boots from Target when I was still in high school for $40 and they died last winter, they have since been resoled and I am really excited for it to be cold enough to wear them again! So trendy with tights and dresses, awesome! Also, since I know I really love OTK boots I purchased two pairs from Betts in the style Josa (pictured below) one suede pair and one polyurethane pair. I got the one pair full price and the second pair half price in a deal Betts has often. I am so excited for it to be cool enough to break these babies out!

Another trend I love for the cooler months is to spice up a plain outfit with patterned or coloured tights, this can bring a boring outfit back on trend, they look especially nice with boots!

Another personal favourite of mine from recently are the wet look jeans! I recently purchased a pair from City Chic and I am in love! So comfy, super sexy and oh so chic! Pair with a casual top and sneakers for day and heels and nice top for a night out! be sparing in how you accessorise these babies though, they tend to make a statement in themselves!

Winter accessories are a must in the cooler months, not only do they look super fashionable but they also keep you warm! Chunky scarves, cable knit, mittens and all sorts of hats are the go (also good for bad hair days). Experiment with some looks you like and run with it! OTK socks over tights with boots for layering is also on trend during these winter months! Try it out!

Last but not least, be yourself. Wear what makes you feel good and that confidence will make anything you wear look fabulous!

Happy Blogging my Lovelies xo
