My sister turned 23 this weekend and to celebrate we headed up the coast to Forster to celebrate with family, pools, the beach and a corner spa in our hotel room... Yaaassssss! Mostly excited for the spa, lesbihonest.
Anyway, this week has been fairly uneventful and I had such high hopes that I was finally going to get my shit together for uni to begin, but alas, I have not. I have, however, started a job delivering pizza until I get another, better paid, job!
My first day was one of the hottest days Sydney has seen this summer getting to 40 degrees (celcius, guys!) in my area.. In a pizza shop, with a pizza oven and not a lot of room, sigh. It was alright, being able to deliver pizza meant that I spent about half of my shift in my air conditioned car. I did have to make a delivery to a house with a very dark overgrown driveway that had a car parked at the end of it so I couldn't drive right down to the gate which was a little freaky.. And when the occupants of the house yelled to see who it was it nearly scared the shit out of me! Literally.
Now, onto the meagre four pictures I have for the week!
So, my aunt wasn't home and we went there for a swim and sent her this photo of my mum and sister in the pool to make her jealous that she was at work. Also, my aunt didn't know we were coming up so it was a little surprise for her!
Don't mind me. This is my sister and I after the beach, me feeling a little frail and sunburnt and my sister lapping up the corner spa in the room. Literally in the room, there was a seperate bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin but the spa was outside.. Hot! haha.
This was me, riding a whale.. Enough said, well, I broke the whale after this. Not on purpose but pool noodles begin to rot when they're left in water for too long and this one had seen better days. Trust me!
And lastly, some post cheer training ankle ice happening up in here. If you have followed me for a while you know that I broke my ankle last January and that it hasn't healed properly. Hence it being painful enough after training for me to consider sticking my foot in a bucket of ice. If it hasn't healed properly by the end of the year chances are I will be getting surgery - I just can't get surgery now without having to commit to at least 6 weeks off my ankle and then rehab after, especially when I am about to finish uni and want to cheer this year.
Sigh.
Anyway, I hope the week was good to you, the year is getting faster and faster these days. I nearly forgot about this post until tonight when I realised it was Friday.
Whoops!
Anyway, have a great week!
Happy Blogging my Lovelies xo
