OOTD : 30th April, 2014 - Dreamworld

Today we got up and ventured off to Dreamworld for the day. For those of you who don't know what it is, basically its a super tiny version of Disneyland, and I mean tiny! Went on pretty much every ride though and I had a super fun time. So tired, and so dirty!

Nothing like a dirt tan!

Tomorrow I am flying back to Sydney in the morning for an exam and then back to Brisbane in the afternoon. Time is going to be of the essence thats for sure, and we all know how much I love aeroplanes. 

Anyway.

I know these photos are old but I went for a swim in the hotel pool before I took a photo and this is the exact same outfit!

OOTD : 29th April, 2014 - All Studied Up

So just in case I do have to fly back to Sydney for this exam on Thursday (which is how it looks at the moment) I needed to prepare myself.. Even just a little bit, so last night and tonight I have done some revision for the main topics that have been covered in this subject last term and I am hoping that my knowledge from doing this subject the first time around should be of some assistance.

I really hope I pass this exam, I need to make it worth the money flying there and back to Brisbane afterwards… Fingers crossed!

Today we just went to Southbank and walked around like crazy people for most of the day, then I had an afternoon nap (well, sleep) and then dinner and visited some family and now we are back at the hotel, I am up watching Sex In The City and everyone else is in bed.. Probably because of said nap!

Also, I got sunburnt… No surprises there.

OOTD : 28th April, 2014 - We're Soaring, Flying!

So this morning I woke up at 5:30 am, left for the airport just after 6am, was on the plane by 8am and in Brisbane at 9:30am due to delays. The flight was pretty smooth, pretty hot being that high in the air with crappy air conditioning with the sun on my window, goodness!

We just checked in to the hotel, got some groceries, had lunch and then went for a swim. My dad the arrived from Mackay (I think) and while we were waiting to get him from the train station a lady high as a kite came up to me and told me to cheer up because even though I was fat I should cheer up.. I get that she was high and I shouldn't really take it personally but why do people assume that people who are fat are only ever hung up on their weight instead of other issues that could be going on?

Anyway, tonight we just had dinner and went and visited some family. But I have been up for nearly 18 hours and I am super exhausted and we have done so much walking and stuff today. Also, super dehydrated from flying and walking around, I have a super bad headache!

OOTD Fail : 27th April, 2014 - The Biggest Fuckup

Today I realised that my exam for one of my uni subjects is this week, not next week like I thought it was. So I emailed my convenor explaining the situation and he refused to grant me the supplementary so I either (hopefully) get ill before then so I can apply for special consideration or my Mum offered to fly me back for the exam and then back to Brisbane… 

Hopefully I will know what to do when the time comes closer, but incase I have to go and do the exam, I should probably start revising and stuff.

The thing is that I am irritated because the convenor was not understanding at all even though I am sure he has accidentally mixed up dates.. I know he needs to be fair to everyone, but I feel like these are extenuating circumstances because my mum booked the tickets thinking I was still on holidays like my brother who goes to Newcastle University.

Anyway, hopefully something works out!

I did have an outfit today but I got changed out of it before I remembered I was supposed to take a photo.. My bad, it was nothing exciting really. Just black jeans and a black and white striped long sleeve top!

OOTD : 26th April, 2014 - Anxiety

Today I went to lunch for my brother's girlfriend's birthday. Didn't last very long though because I was overcome with feelings of anxiety so I went home and enjoyed the peace in the house while everyone else stayed out.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

I know they aren't the greatest photos because I didn't have my camera and I was in the midst of panic because I wanted to take my clothes off and get into something more comfy and less restrictive!

OOTD : 25th April, 2014 - Treatments and Cling Wrap

Today I packed for my holiday and drove home. So many cops on the road due to the Anzac Day long weekend. When I got home I literally did nothing, laid on the lounge and had a snooze. We went out for dinner and then I have come back and sat on my laptop looking at stuff… And now I am watching a movie with a treatment in my hair wrapped in cling wrap.

I also have been informed since I got home that we aren't flying out until Monday morning, not Sunday and we only have checked in luggage for the flight up and my bag weighs mum more than the 10kg carry on luggage! This dress is nicely structured, I am a little unsure about the neckline though and it desperately needs to be worn with spanx! The sizing is super small, probably not made for my size. Which is funny because my sisters was a 2X and it is huge but this one is a 3X and its snug!

I guess thats because Modcloth uses lots of different brands.. Oh well!

OOTD : 24th April, 2014 - The Rollercoaster Ride

Today was a very mixed day. It was really great this morning apart from one incident involving one of my sister friend (don't even get me started on that one) until this evening when I realised I had dropped $50 somewhere in Chatswood while getting stuff out of my wallet and followed by a phone call from someone who had nothing positive to say.

Lifes a bitch. My mum always says that money has a way of coming back to you in the end anyway, heres hoping.

OOTD : 22nd April, 2014 - Round & Round We Go

Today I got up, did washing (exciting I know) and then drove around in circles for much of the afternoon… That is not even an exaggeration. First I needed to buy some new hubcaps since I lost one the other night and according to Google the closest auto parts shop was half an hour away, then I returned to Chatswood where this venture started to pick up some paperwork from Bunnings only to find that there was an auto parts shop next door.. Talk about mad! Then I had to go do more boring adult stuff, you know, buy groceries yada yada..

Also, handed in my assignment and had crappy food for dinner which I am regretting right about now because I am having issues digesting it..

Blergh.

But in some better news, I will most likely be missing the first week back of term to fly to Queensland to see my father for the week, good thing I don't have any tutes or assignments due, having assignments due in the holidays has actually had a positive outcome.. Go figure!

OOTD : 20th & 21st April, 2014 - Easter Funny Business

So on Sunday we drove back from Forster to Newcastle where I spent a couple of hours with my cousins and stuff before heading back to Sydney in the afternoon. I pretty much arrived back to Sydney, dumped my stuff at home, had a quick nap and then went straight to a friends place to get some uni work done. Ended up sleeping at her place for the night so before any of you say anything, yes, I wore the same outfit for two days (well, technically the shirt and singlet for three) and no I don't care what anyone else thinks.

But it was nice to have a shower and get into fresh pyjamas tonight!

I was really productive today though and I pretty much finished my assessment that isn't due until Wednesday, winning! Although, I may need to edit a little, we were told to write a research based discussion but somehow my lecturer thinks that requires a point of view and an argument for and/or against and me being a psychology major takes a discussion as presenting the facts with no bias…

HELP ME!

Also, been applying for jobs like crazy and I need to call my soon to be ex-boss to get her to write a reference letter or something..
