OOTD : 28th November, 2013 - Awkward

Today I had a massage to attempt to help relieve me of my shoulder and back pain and boy it was awkward! Firstly, I had a male and secondly he needed to massage my pecs and hips to stop the shoulder and back pain. Imagine the awkwardness.

Because I was only going to get a massage where I would need to take my clothes off anyway, I didn't wear anything spectacular.

OOTD Fail : 24th November, 2013 - Disappointed

So the girl from the first place I looked at finally got back to me and she has given the room to someone else. So disappointed about it! I also worked for nearly nine hours today, hence to lack of OOTD. 

I am going to see the second place again tomorrow to measure the room to make sure that I would be able to fit a desk, bed and my chair in the room.

OOTD : 23rd November, 2013 - ZZzzzzz

I woke up this morning at 10am for a birthday party at 11am and I was, and still am, absolutely exhausted. One of the girls across the hall had some lovely, noisy visitors last night who kept me up and now I am dreading the thought of an eight hour day at work tomorrow. My next door neighbour moved out this morning because of what happened last night, apparently they were standing at her door because she complained about the noise, taunting her. At least after tomorrow they're all afternoon starts for the next five days and then next weekend is late morning starts.. 

Also, my room hasn't been cleaned. its 7pm and I am still trying to find the motivation to do that, it will happen, if it doesn't it will mean that I will be living in a sty for a few weeks until work slows down but by then I am supposed to be moving.. I really should start packing soon in case I am inundated with work and uni work when I go back in a week or so. Also, I have less than four weeks to find a place, more like three and the girl from last week is yet to get back to me, I messaged her this morning, hopefully she will let me know soon so I know it is or isn't a real option.

I tore my dark grey jeans at work the other night so I had to buy new ones, I went for black and I could not resist this top. I have been super good with my spending, I remember when I started this blog I seemed to be buying stuff all the time.

Day two of huge week of work and I didn't get an outfit up. Things are just really hectic, between work and looking for a place I am really stressed. Especially because I now have less than 4 weeks to find a place with not much luck...

So today is the beginning of a hectic few weeks at work. If I was working on Saturday I would be doing 11 days straight but I asked for Saturday off so I am doing 10 out of 11 days in a row. Fingers crossed that I get through this. This also means that entries on here might be a little scattered! I will try my best to get posts out but I can't guarantee anything!

OOTD : 20th November, 2013 - No Word

I am still yet to hear about the room I looked at on Sunday, I really want to get it but my hopes on getting it are dwindling slowly. Surely if she had of liked me she would of given it to me by now. On the plus side, there is heaps of work coming up which means I will be able to save some more money before I move out.. The downside is that I will be working with the lady at work that I am having issues with, hopefully she wont do anything and I can just get on with my job!

Also, I think my car needs a new clutch, boo! More money needed for that if my suspicions are right. It seems to be slipping and the friction point is now when the pedal is further out than ever before. Hopefully my car does not decide to blow the clutch while I am driving in peak hour, which knowing my luck, it would.

OOTD : 18th November, 2013 - Another House Inspection

So I am yet to hear from the girl who's apartment I inspected yesterday, she said she would let me know today after the other person had a look but so far, nothing. I'm going back down to look at another place in the same area, hopefully I click better with the girl that lives in this one. Fingers crossed! The only downfall is that it doesn't have a study and she needs someone to move in immediately so even if I do love it someone might come along able to move in immediately and take it. I am trying to not get too hopeful but I hope that something does come along!

Anyway, today I started sewing a Steampunk skirt for my friend for another friends birthday party which is on Saturday. I am going off measurements that she gave me and I am hoping like nothing else that it fits her, it seems a little small to me though.. We shall see, if its too small I am going to have to add some side panels or something.. Eeep.

It is still cold and rainy in Sydney, has been for about a week now.. As much as I love it being cool and rainy, I also wanted to enjoy the three weeks of holidays that I had before I started Summer School for uni, fingers crossed the weather changes soon.

OOTD : 17th November, 2013 - The Latest Post That Ever Posted

So today I had a house inspection for a potential place to move into in December when my contract at college runs out. I am hoping I get it very deep down but I know she has someone else going to have a look on Monday. I know that if that person has a more secure income, they'll get it for sure. I understand why that is but I am a little bit disappointed that finances are such a big issue, just because my work isn't secure doesn't mean that I am unable to afford the amount she is asking. I get help from my parents and from Centrelink too.

After that I went shopping, as you do. Needed some new black jeans since the dark grey ones I have been wearing are beginning to rip on the inseams because they've become so thin... The joys of having thighs that rub together, you feel me? I also got two shirts, the same two that my sister bought at the beginning of the week.

OOTD Fail : 16th November, 2013 - Dupe Alert!

So today I am at work, so I have scheduled a post for you guys because I just might not get the time to write something tomorrow. In my recent trawling of Price Attack for hair dye and stuff I noticed a palette that very closely resembled some of the shades from the Urban Decay Naked Palette Two! Now as someone who does not own said Urban Decay palette for the price I decided to spend the $9.95 and purchase this palette and to be honest, I am super impressed with the colour payout and blend-ability of these shadows. They are also super smooth as well!

For those who are unfamiliar with the Urban Decay palette, basically here is a picture. Its twelve shades of neutral toned eyeshadows, known for their super good quality and great packaging.

So in Price Attack I saw this palette.

10 neutral shades, some strikingly similar to those in the Urban Decay palette and for $9.95 I took the plunge and purchased it. 

Some colours can barely bee seen because they are supposed to be super neutral but some of these colours are to-die-for, especially the rose-gold colour fourth from the left!

I think this palette is going to be my new best friend! They also have a dark palette from this brand, I am considering purchasing that one too! For $9.95, I don't think I can really go wrong. For those of you in Australia go check out your nearest Price Attack if you're interested! It is also made my Designer Brands Australia, so you'll be supporting Australian jobs!

OOTD : 15th November, 2013 - All The Sleep!

This morning, or should I say this afternoon, I stayed in bed until about 1pm and then got up, showered and begun the big clean of my room. Six hours later and I still have about half of the cleaning left to go, just putting washing away and cleaning my kitchenette. Hopefully I will finish it tonight. If not, it will definitely be done on Sunday because I am working all day tomorrow.

Yesterday I went and had a look around the area of the place I am looking at on Sunday morning and I can say that I love it and I really hope it works out.. It is so peaceful and community spirited, I have fallen in love! The travel time is a bit of a downer but I think it will help me keep good routine if I have to get up a little bit earlier to get places on time.

Also, I went out last night with some "friends". I use the term friends very loosely because I don't really consider us to be good friends, I would say more acquaintances. It did remind me why I prefer to stay in my room by myself though. I have never felt so un-included in my life, conversations I had no idea about and I kept getting spoken over. Also, they all walked together linking arms and I was the awkward person just walking behind them. Note to self, when invited to an event again, just say no and stay happy in your own company. I felt like I was back in high school by some of the conversations that were had. I did see someone I used to work with though and a complete stranger complimented my "natural" red-headedness which made my night..

OOTD : 13th November, 2013 - Sick Of Study

My last exam is tomorrow morning, 11am cannot come quick enough. Then all I need to do is sit back and relax for three months.... Just kidding! Of course I would choose to continue working, agree to a sewing project for a friend and complete summer school for two out of the three months that I am on "holidays". All this while attempting to find a place to move to in the middle of December while attempting to find more stable work. Yep, the holidays are bound to be super restful. 

Why do I do this to myself? Because I inherited the work ethic of my Mother and Father, lucky me!

OOTD : 12th November, 2013 - Two Exams Down

If I get arthritis or carpal tunnel from the extreme amount of writing in exams can I sue the university? Haha. So I now have one exam left to complete, bring on Thursday! Also, I'm rushing to get to work so this update will be short, hopefully I will give you a more comprehensive one tomorrow!

I realise now how utterly horrendous this outfit is! I honestly just dressed for comfort, ended up wearing a hoodie and then changed my shoes because it was raining heavily outside and I didn't want to ruin these shoes.
