Today I have 8 hours of lectures to watch for an exam I have tomorrow, fingers crossed I get it all done and understand it somewhat! My outfit-of-the-day is nothing special, just something comfy for studying in while being somewhat presentable. So here it is.

OOTD : 29th April, 2013

I'm blogging today from uni in my two hour break before my next class. I fully intended on listening to a 2 hour lecture while I had nothing to do because I have an exam on Wednesday but I forgot to bring my earphones to uni and don't want to be disruptive. I mean, I could walk to two minutes back to my dorm and get my earphones but I'm afraid the temptation of then staying at home may be too much... So here I am, blogging instead, fair trade right?

I am so hungry, but the cafe on campus that I am at doesn't have anything I want to eat and I'm too lazy to go to another one for food... Maybe i'll end up buying a sausage roll just to eat the pastry off it since I don't like sausage roll meat, ergh.

Anyway, I realise this blog post has been longer than usual, and probably boring to most of you, so heres my outfit of the day! Remember that I got dressed at 8am, a time I haven't seen in months so I don't feel all that put together. Also, its quite warm out so I'm regretting the jeans... I realise that some of the items I wear come up a lot on this blog... When I love something I wear the shit out of it!

Anyway, my Asos order is supposed to arrive today but I won't know if it has until I return from uni at 3pm but I am super cooper excited for it!! Hopefully no returns are needed for this order, fingers crossed!

OOTD : 28th April, 2013

Still doing an assignment for uni, I am however reaching the point of insanity! Which is quite ironic since I am studying psychology.. Nothing spesh today for my outfit, I probably won't even leave my college dorm except to see sunlight.. Feeling pretty doughy, I had a sleeping tablet last night, I slept so well but the ramifications of that are that today is going to be a complete write-off.. 

Also, my Asos package arrives tomorrow, I am so excited!!

I feel very nautical chic today!

OOTD : 27th April, 2013

I had to buy groceries and fill a prescription today but silly me walked past City Chic and went inside.. BAD! I ended up buying a lace halter neck peplum top (What a mouthful) and the matching lace jacket (not that I'll wear them together) and now I've decided that my wardrobe does need a good sorting out so perhaps I'll sell some items.. Im sure you'll see my new purchases in an OOTD soon! I also bought a basic black jacket from Autograph. 

Heres my outfit-of-the-day, its a little risqué and I felt a little self-conscious in it due to the fact it reminds me of lingerie. Anyway, tell me what you think!

OOTD : 26th April, 2013

I was really productive yesterday in terms of getting uni work done but my body has decided that this week it will catch up on all the sleep I haven't been getting since the beginning of the year. So this week, I've pretty much been sleeping 12 hours a night, but from 2am to 2pm which isn't a great way for it to be. Im hoping that i'll get my sleep sorted by Monday when uni goes back, 9am tutorial here I come!

OOTD : 25th April, 2013

So, today is ANZAC day and its also 4 days until I go back to uni and I have so much work to do! So today, I'm going to buckle down and do some, maybe.. I have a big to do list in front of me!!

Anyway, nothing exciting has really been happening, sis anyone purchase anything yesterday from Asos while there was 20% off? Let me know if you did, I love looking at other peoples purchases!

I nearly didn't buy these jeans just because at a size 20 from Target they were a little snug but I loved the pattern and could not find them anywhere that fit me, but believe me when I say that water on your jeans and sleeping in them does do wonders for stretching jeans!

This is also a pretty budget friendly outfit too.. Im sure if I went out i'd be putting some sort of jacket on, but since I am only doing assignments in my room today I should be okay!

OOTD Fail : 24th April, 2013 + Asos Order

Hey guys, so again, no outfit of the day today because I'm going to work but I will have one up for you tomorrow for sure! Asos has 20% off for 24 hours using the code TWOUP so I decided to buy a new lace dress (or 2) since I've grown out of mine and also ordered a floral dress.. All in size 22 though, hopefully they all run true to size so I don't have the hassle of returning items, again.

OOTD Fail : 23rd April, 2013 + City Chic Job Vacancies

So, no outfit of the day today since I'm going to work and as attractive as my work uniform is, I'm not going to post it up here. In other news, City Chic is looking for staff and I am seriously considering applying.. I already have a really good paying job but I think I could do one or two days a week at City Chic and it'd just be a bonus that'd I'd be working with clothes I adore! Staff discount would definitely be a perk too!

Anyway, if any of my readers work at City Chic could you let me know whether I could work only one or two shifts a week while keeping another job and full time uni! Also, what is the staff discount and rate of pay? Just curious! Wanting to weigh up my options!

I have an issue with the dress though, while sitting at a wooden table some threads were pulled in the dress just below where the belt sits... Bit annoying for a pricey dress! But I felt confident, so, cheers to that!

OOTD : 22nd April, 2013 + Asos Curve Haul Update

Hey guys, sorry about the lack of posts lately, I went home to visit family for four days and had so much fun! To make up for it I will probably be posting to outfits of the day tomorrow because I am going to a friends graduation party tonight at Jamie Oliver's restaurant tonight and will be getting all fancy and stuff. Lucky me! Also, I just bought some jeans from City Chic while I was at home and can't wait to show you guys those!

And without further ado, heres my outfit of the day!

I really love this top I got in my Asos Haul, speaking of which, I returned the grey duffle jacket for a smaller size because I was swimming in it and the size down is a little small on my arms but I can work with that. I was going to return the lace pencil skirt also because it was too big on my waist but I decided it wasn't worth returning when after postage was paid id only get about $9 back.. Ill alter it, I think.

OOTD Fail : 19th & 20th April, 2013

So, no OOTD post for today and tomorrow, I am currently in Forster visiting my cousins, who by the way, are super-dooper adorable!! 

We had a big day filled with free rides and fairy floss and Little Miss fell asleep in my arms when we got back to her house and is still currently asleep.. Fingers crossed she wakes soon so we don't have to wake her!

Cute right?

ASOS CURVE HAUL!

So, after 6 attempts to upload my Asos Curve haul to YouTube it finally happened! Yay for small miracles!

Just a quick note about the products in this haul :

1. I can understand $30 for the belt since I have discovered it is real leather

2. The skull tank is a little long and I need to alter it

3. The lace skirt is a bit too big on my waist and needs to be altered but sites everywhere else.

4. The coat was too big and I have since ordered a smaller one.

I will be showing these items in outfits of the day coming up soon but until Sunday night there might not be many original OOTD since I have gone home for the weekend and packed clothes that I've already used in OOTD, so it will get repetitive. I'll figure something out I guess.

OOTD : 18th April, 2013

So, I tried to upload the Asos Curve haul last night and YouTube was having none of that, so I'm attempting to do it right now. Fingers crossed it doesn't get to processing again and then give me the "this video cannot be processed" bullshit after I waited 3 hours for it to upload.

Also, my 6 or so hour shift at work yesterday turned into another nearly 9 hour shift so I am super-dooper tired, having insomnia will do that to any person whether they work or not. So, probably won't do much today. Although, I would love to get some sewing done, my fabric stash it all kinds of ridiculous! On the sewing list are:

-A tulle skirt (I have 12 metres of tulle hanging around my room)

-An aztec maxi skirt, short skirt and crop top (So they're interchangeable)

-Some plain black skirts (I have so much fabric, theres a whole bolt under my bed)

-Some headbands and belts (Self-explanatory)

Ahh, so many things to sew but so little time. Although Im technically on holidays at the moment I still have so much uni work to get done while I'm off as well as studying for exams that are coming up after the holidays.

Anyway, I better get on to the outfit of the day!

It's finally cold enough for proper jackets and coats which I am really excited about!

OOTD : 17th April, 2013

So, the last of my Asos Curve packages arrived this morning and I am editing the haul video as I write this and I'm so excited!! Yesterday I worked 9 hours and boy I am sore today! Im working again this afternoon so I put together this quick outfit of the day! I think it'll be pretty similar to an outfit of the day from earlier this month. Anywho, enjoy!

OOTD Fail Whale : 16th April, 2013

So, no outfit of the day post today. Im still in my pyjamas at the moment and when I get out of them it will be to get in my work uniform which is nothing exciting for you guys. Buuuuuttt, 1 of 3 of my Asos packages has arrived and hopefully by this weekend I will have a haul up for you.

OOTD : 15th April, 2013

So I have a friend who's name is Jess and her and I used to be the same size in clothing. She since decided that she was going to lose weight and she lost 20 kilos! Good for her, also good for me because I got all of her old clothes that no longer fit her including things from City Chic, Jeans West and much more. Its surprising to me though, that she didn't give me stuff that I already owned, so my closet pretty much doubled in a few garbage bags full of clothes. It was so nice to get 'hand-me-downs' that actually fit me too. If you're a bigger girl, I remember getting hand-me-downs from cousins and would be so disappointed when they were all too small for me. Message me with your experiences on this.

On another note, today is my last exam before I go on a two week break from uni, a very much needed two week break! Hopefully, I don't get too many shifts at work so I can go home to see my parents and cousins. Its pretty lonely living in Sydney without any family or friends (even though I live on campus with 200+ other people), which makes it a lot more lonely.

Theres nothing worse than being surrounded by heaps of people but still feeling like the loneliest person on the planet!!

I had been looking for a lace shirt for a while that wasn't too pricey when I was given this top. The lace is soft and the shirt is loose fitting with a longer back. It also has cut outs on the back (they're hard to see because I'm wearing a singlet).
